Taxes: State room occupancy tax 5.7%, local room occupancy tax 6.7%, convention center tax 2.75, and service fee 5%

Deposit: 50% Due at the time of booking. The remaining will be charged before check in. You must have a valid credit card on file to check in.  WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH.

In case of the failed charge, the booking will be canceled. In case we cannot charge the card, you will receive an email to provide valid card details. In case we won't receive a reply, your booking will be canceled and the deposit is non refundable. Check in any time after 3:00 PM. Check out by 11:00 AM.

Breakfast not included.

General: 24-hour Reception. No curfew, but quiet hours between 8:00 PM and 8:00 AM. There is free luggage storage space at the property. Minors are allowed to stay in our property if they are accompanied by an adult/guardian.

Meco Commitment to Online Security

Physical, electronic and managerial procedures have been employed to safeguard the security and integrity of personal information.  Billing information is encrypted whenever transmitted or received online. All Meco agents and contractors with access to personal information obtained on the Meco Web site are also bound to adhere to this policy.

When an individual makes a purchase or places a reservation with Meco online, Meco may collect the following types of personal information: name, age, postal and e-mail addresses, telephone numbers, and billing information. Meco may also collect other demographic or psychographic information through forms, social media interaction, surveys and program participation, with users’ consent. This information may include information such as gender and geographic area.

If your personal information changes or you would like to review the personal information we may have on file, please e-mail us with the new information or your review request at contact@mecohotels.com. Let us also know the Meco hostel, program or service that led to your submission of personal information so we may efficiently locate your data.

Web Browser Tracking and Cookies

Our Web sites do track user sessions and employ analytics. However, we do not collect or distribute personal information not entered by visitors. Our site logs do generate certain kinds of non-identifying site usage data such as the number of visits, date and time of visits, IP address, time on site, source of traffic, and geolocation. Web analytics also may collect device-related information such as the device type, device language, and browser. This information is used for internal purposes by marketing and technical staff to provide better services and online user experiences to the public and may also be provided to our partners in the form of aggregate traffic reports, but such statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather such information.

Analytics services collect data regarding the use of other Web sites, apps and online resources. Meco utilizes Google Analytics. Meco uses non-identifying cookies to provide easier site navigation, access to forms and improve usability. You can still use the Meco site if your browser is set to reject cookies. Our cookies do not generate personal data, do not read personal data from your machine and are not tied to anything that could be used to identify you.

Cookies also allow us to select which advertisements or offers are most likely to appeal to you and display them during your user session, to display advertisements as you browse other Web sites, or to send marketing emails. Data Transfer Policy and GDPR

By using the Services and providing us with information, you understand and agree that we may transfer and store your information on servers located outside your resident jurisdiction.  To the extent you are a resident of a country other than the United States, you consent to the transfer of such data to the United States for processing by us in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Cancellation Policy:   

Must cancel 24 hours prior to arrival or else forfeit one night.

**1. Shared Spaces:**

   - Our accommodation features shared spaces including dormitory rooms, bathrooms, and common areas. Please be mindful of other guests and respect their privacy and belongings.

**2. Quiet Hours:**

   - To maintain a peaceful environment for all guests, quiet hours are observed between 8:00PM and 8AM. Please keep noise levels to a minimum during these hours.

**3. Personal Belongings:**

   - While we make efforts to provide a secure environment, we cannot be held responsible for the loss or theft of personal belongings. We recommend using lockers, if available, to store valuable items.

**4. Cleanliness:**

   - We strive to uphold cleanliness standards in all shared spaces. Please clean up after yourself and help keep the accommodation tidy for everyone's enjoyment.

**5. Respect for Diversity:**

   - We welcome guests from diverse backgrounds. Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. We expect all guests to treat each other with respect and consideration.

**6. Security:**

   - Our accommodation is equipped with basic security measures. However, guests are responsible for their own safety and security. Please ensure doors are securely locked and report any concerns to staff.

**7. Alcohol and Substance Use:**

   - Guests are responsible for consuming alcohol and substances responsibly and in compliance with local laws and regulations. The hostel is not liable for any consequences resulting from the misuse of alcohol or substances.

**8. Smoking Policy:**

   - Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors and in designated non-smoking areas. Guests may smoke in designated outdoor areas only, following local laws and regulations.

**Disclosure:**

By staying at our hostel/shared accommodation, guests acknowledge and accept the risks associated with shared living spaces. Meco Hotels assumes no liability for any accidents, injuries, or damages that may occur during the stay. Guests are encouraged to obtain appropriate travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
